Customers blew our minds with awesome displays of #MuchosMangoes
The Crespo Organic Summer Mango Mania #MuchosMangoes promotion is the collision point between Nayarit and Sinaloa peak mango production, happening in the height of consumer demand, SUMMERTIME. For two months, usually starting to build volumes and displays in June, building up to gigantic consumer sales and buzz in July, a mango mania frenzy takes over the nation. The promotion happens when the orchards are at their most copies and this year we not only had over the top quality and a vast array of sizing options, but we had more participants in our annual display contests that we hold in conjunction with our wholesales and retailers.
The goal of the promotion is for all of us to sell more mangoes and equally important to us is our dedication to educating, exciting, engaging and enticing mango consumers – not just with the sweet price points but with some of the most creative and relevant mango-ed the produce industry has ever seen. We teach consumers how to choose, store, cut and use fresh organic mangoes in their home kitchens. This year retailers utilized the rich toolset of resources and took advantage of the events that the Crespo Organic Kitchen produces and everyone not only sold more mangoes than ever, but we gained new mango eaters and expanded the average consumers mango repertoire. This is the 4th year of the promotion and it’s been the best!
